Multan Sultans Team Overlook –

Multan Sultans is a Franchise representing the town of saints referred to as Multan, which is found within the south of Punjab and the fifth largest Pakistan city. This team wasn’t introduced until 2016 and was founded in 2017 when the Pakistan Cricket Board announced incorporating the sixth team serial of the Pakistan Super League. Alamgir Khan Tareen owns this team. Therefore, the home ground for Multan Sultan is Multan Cricket Stadium, which has the capacity of 30,000 spectators and all of the modern facilities present in it, including five floodlights for day/night matches.

Shan Masood was the team captain in its debut series, while within the latest series, that’s PSL 6, Muhammad Rizwan replaced Shan Masood as a Captain. Andy Flower, a legendary cricketer from Zimbabwe and head coach of the Britain cricket team, was introduced as the head coach of Multan Sultans.

Logo & Kit

The logo and kit of Multan Sultan’s were revealed to the public during a special ceremony, including many star cricketers. This ceremony was persisted in September 2017. Team jersey has blue and green colors in it, with ‘Multan Sultans ‘written within the jersey center.

Ambassadors

In the 2018 season, many of the famous tv stars were the ambassadors of the team. Ahsan khan, Neelam Munir, Javed Sheik, moral sheik, and Sadia khan supported the team throughout the season. Their fans also braced the team with their love and appreciation. Anthem of the franchise was sung by Waqar Ehsan and was named ‘Hum Hai Multan Kay Sultans’. The cricket lovers much appreciated this anthem. The team gained immense popularity when Shahid Afridi joined this team and left Peshawar Zalmi.

Multan sultans are sponsored by Fatima Group, Afsaneh, Lays, Kurkure, GFC fans, Mughal Steels, OLX, Pepsi, Snack video, Super Asia, In forex, Asia Ghee Mill FC. In 2019, the team owners did a great job by inviting 15 cancer patients to the live streaming of the match. These patients also spent significant time with the owners and, therefore, the players of Multan Sultans. This act of kindness was appreciated even by the opponent teams. The team, however, has not won any final of PSLbut is functioning hard to succeed in that level of success.
