The ICC Men’s T20 World Cup is scheduled to be held from October 16 to November 13 across multiple venues in Australia. Rohit Sharma will be leading Team India and KL Rahul is appointed as vice-captain. Below are the important people who are equally responsible to claim the title once again after 15 years:
Rahul Dravid – Head Coach for Team India
Rahul David has all the capability to prove himself as one of the best head coaches for Team India. He was appointed after the tenure of Ravi Shastri ended. His primary task lately is to compile the right squad to play in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup, which is scheduled to be held in Australia from October 16 to November 13. It is his first big challenge after taking the chair.
Vikram Rathour – Batting Coach for Team India
Gained the trust of head coach Rahul Dravid, the former India opener is responsible for scheduling batting in practice sessions. He is equally tasked to correct the flaws of batters with the held and coordination of video analyst Hari Mohan. He was appointed lately by the selection committee considering the players can open up to him comfortably.
Paras Mhambrey – Bowling Coach for Team India
Paras Mhambrey is a known face since 2016 for being in Rahul Dravid’s team during the under-19 coaching days. He is a former pacer for Team India and Mumbai. He was the first person to be picked by Dravid following collaborating for under-19, India A and thereafter senior Indian team. Players find the desired space with him.
Hari Mohan – Video Analyst for Team India
Data is important and analyzing the data is more important to perform better. Hari Mohan is playing an important and much-needed role in Team India. He is the video analyst and is part of the India team since Dravid took charge of being the head coach. His role includes providing data with respect to the weaknesses and strengths of the rival teams. He provides visual support to the players before every game. He is one of the busiest teammates on non-match days.
T Dilip – Fielding Coach for Team India
In spite of lacking first-class cricket experience, T Dilip is one of the successful men behind any team. He has been a Level-III coach for Hyderabad Ranji. His road was paved to join the Sri Lanka board. However, Dravid invited him after becoming head coach.
Dr. Charles Minz – Team Doctor for Team India
A doctor is the backbone of any squad and Dr. Charles Minz has taken the charge of Team India. The Pune-based general physician was earlier with the IPL’s Pune Super Giants, Pune FC in Indian Super League and Puneri Paltan in the Pro Kabaddi. He served the Royal Challengers Bangalore in 2020.
Kamlesh Jain – Head Physiotherapist for Team India
Physiotherapy helps in keeping fit and Kamlesh Jain is responsible to keep the playing squad fit during the entire T20 World Cup event in October and November. He was earlier with the Kolkata Knight Riders. His recent big challenge was to decide whether Jasprit Bumrah would be allowed to play in the multi-nation event.
