Sydney Sixers vs Melbourne Renegades

Josh Philippe scored a half-century and Ben Dwarshuis claimed four wickets to lead Sydney Sixers to a 34-run triumph over Melbourne Renegades. Having a 149/8 restriction. At the Sydney Cricket Ground on Wednesday. The Sixers bowled the Renegades out for 115 to win easily (December 28).

After being called to bat, the Sixers got off to a strong start thanks to Philippe and Kurtis Patterson before Mujeeb ur Rahman broke their opening partnership of 32 runs in the 5th over. The Sixers reached 80 by the halfway point of the innings.

In the second half, the Renegades bowlers were much tighter. As they were in the  attacking form and stopped the Sixers from having a successful finish. Following the 10th over to the completion of the innings, only four 4s were scored. Also, 58 runs were scored in the final eight overs.

In the first four overs of the chase, the Renegades lost Martin Guptill and Nic Maddinson. Renegades suffering early loss in the Innings. Sutherland and Tom Rogers made a couple big smashes in the final four overs. When the Renegades needed 66 to win for the Renegades. However, the wickets kept falling, and the Renegades were eventually bowled out in the last.
